Need quick help....check engine light is on.
Well we are going to head out in the morning for a 900 miles ride so I changed all my fluids and when I got the bike warmed up to check the fluids everything looked good. The oil was about 1/8" over the full line when hot but that should not be a problem. I take off to go by my brothers and the bike is running sluggish and the check engine light and the battery light come on so I turn around and head home. i looked everything over and don't see any problems. I went thru the Fuelpak settings and everything looks good. When changing the fluids I also added the digital dipstick and the Chrome bridge from kuryakyn. what could it be?

If the new bridge is around the spark plugs or wires you may me grounding out from a pin hole in the plug wire or plug area. I would also check to make sure my hot wire and ground wire from the battery are good and tight.
