Torque settings
I'm looking for the general torque settings for my '06 Street Glide Primary, I've picked up an oil leak between the transmission and motor and my limited mechanical knowladge tells me that after 25,000 miles with no-one working on the oil pan or anything it is in all likelyhood one of the seals that has gone, taken age and extremely warm ambiant temperatures here into account. I've done about 12.. miles the past month since I've bought the bike and in all fairness it's the most the bike hase done in years, previous owner thought it to be a mantle peice I think.
Anyhow, I'm looking for the torque settings on the primary to refitment onto the motor and all the other bolts and things on the outer casings etc.
Help will be appreciated.

If you are going to do the work yourself, I'd suggest purchasing the HD service manual which will have not only all the torque settings, but the bolt sequence for tightening as well as instructions for what you are working on. Might be the shifter shaft seal, might be the inner primary seal. Good time to change them all and have a look-see at things in there.

Check your oil pan and transmission bearing housing bolts also, These have been known to loosen up and cause leaks. I had this happen on my bike. Harley released a service bulletin in this with new torque specks for these bolts. Since tightening mine the leak has stopped.
