After you clean the windshield, spray it with Pledge and wipe it down. Bugs don't stick to it and cleans up real easy next time you wash it. Dale

If you have the need (ride in the rain lots), H-D has a product that's safe for the lexan shields.

Cant beat a warm towel. Let the bugs soften and wipe away.

Anybody that has a Murray's Auto Parts Store near should check out the May sale. You can get a package of three micro fiber towels for a buck. I keep one moistenedand one dry in baggies while riding.

Another vote for Plexus. Been using it for the last 4-5 years. And microfiber is the only cloth that hits my scoot. When the shield gets really caked with the critters I take a wet towel and lay it over it and after a few minutes those suckers will wipe right off, then finish it off with the Plexus.

Use just water, one wet rag followed by a dry microfiber towel.

Use distilled water. Will not leave water spots.

Place a wet towel on the windshield and leave it a while. The bugs will soften and wipe right off.

I also have a detachable windshield. When my gets really bad I soak it in the bathtub. Add a little soap of your choice and let it soak for 15 minutes or so. The bugs fall off without any rubbing.
