LEMON PLEDGE! Better than Plexus and better than plain Pledge. Buy a small spray can, put an old t-shirt in a plastic ziplock bag and keep it with you in the saddlebag. ... BC

I got the supply I have now off the web when I bought some other stuff, but I didn't have to buy any more than a can at a time. I bought it(along with a bunch of other stuff) from the Hawg-Wash site. They're pretty good and I've had good luck with them. Remember the aerosol has to be ground shipped. If you need something right away, get some Nevus for $4 at the dealer while you're waiting for the Plexus to arrive.

Something about Lemon Pledge scares me. Oh yeah, it was my mother yelling at me as a kid when she was cleaning the house with Lemon Pledge and I'm getting everything dirty again as soon as she cleaned it.

When I get back from a ride and my w/s is covered with bugs, I take an old hand towel and drench it in a mild solution of dish washing soap like Joy or sumptin' like that. Squeeze it out just a bit, then smooth out the towel over the w/s for a 30 minute soak. Loosens up the bugs so that the just wipe of and do not scratch the w/s. After that, any good plexiglass cleaner is fine.

..use what you like..just as long as it's wet...NEVER put a towel, microfiber, diaper or anything else to finish"DRY".

spray the little critters well with pledge and then wipe off with a micro-fiber rag.
