I put 10" Khrome Werks bagger bobber apes on my 2012 and didn't change nothing. My clutch cable is tight. The dealer told me that if I would have gone any taller I would have needed a clutch cable. My 10's are at the top of my fairing.
Hey RideFree...I just ordered these exact bars for my 12 FLHTCU. So you didn't need any wire extensions or longer cables? Did you do the install yourself? How do you like them? Any chance of posting a pic?
