Why not just go to Home depot and save your self $8 and the shipping time?

I don't mean to argue about something so trivial, but Home Depot will cost about $13 tax included. If someone wants to head to the local home depot here are the part numbers:

Socket cap screw $.94

Speed Nut $1.98

Lock Washer $.17

I see Harley has gone to a bolt type fastener for 2017.

I buy the extruded U-nuts from clips and fasteners or Amazon for about 15 bucks for a bag of 25, and give them away to friends who have expressed concern over losing saddlebags. You've probably already got a couple of 1-1/4" socket cap screws in 5/16"-18 thread size in your parts bags.

Just go to the the hardware store and buy two bolts and two u-clips. You only need one per bag, they will not fall off again. Total cost should be under five bucks.

That is what I did. Even up here in Canada I think it only cost me about 6 bucks for a set of four in stainless steel with the speed nuts.
