Get a flash light to see if all the notches in the barrel lined up, you can line them up by using a flat head screw driver or with the ignition rod keep trying with patience you will see it will work.No need to hook up battery it's not the high tech self driven switch just a manual ignition switch.
Now I'm trying to get all my wires ran internally, and I've spend the last 8 hours trying and trying. I'm working on the right side, I have them split in 2 groups of 6. One for the top row of the connector, one for the bottom. I can get one threw but not the other. Every time i try to get the second one threw, i wind up pulling my line too hard and becomes unattached.
Any suggestions of what y'all use to pull your wires threw with? I'm using weedeater line? and Im using dish soap for lube on the wires.
I was able to get the wires through as a set. However I broke a few of the pins trying to get through the bars. You may or may not have to just take notes cut the endsame and repin. May not be the best advice but it worked for me

yea i think i should have waited to put the extension wires on, because i feel like thats having a hard time making the hard corner turn. and i have the heat shrink tubing covering all the wires. i think I'm going to take that off as well.

Bundle all of the wires together, use electrical tape to hold wires together...wrapped from one end to the other, use heat shrink over that. I pull with two strands of twine with a skip not and taped over that. Use Vaseline on the harness as lube. Here is the most important part of all....push then pull. DO NOT TRY TO PULL THE HARNESS. Push and pull out slack. The harder you PULL the harder it's gonna be to get the harness through.
