Have any of you guys used the SENA 20S, with a half helmet? How is the sound and is there a lot of wind noise through the mic?

I ride around with my visor up on my 3/4 helmet and the other end never hears a difference.

I have had conversations at 75 MPH on a Heritage and the person on the other end didn't know I was on a bike.

Interested in more info about the half helmet performance. Pictures of the set-up will also be appreciated. Been looking at this system for close to a year and this is the reason I have hesitated.

Don't have a picture of the system on a half helmet, but the mic boom goes on the helmet, on the back of the helmet mount there is a female headphone jack, plug the earbuds in there.......baddabing high quality sound right in your ear.

The sena 20 works great on an open face helmet. Never used it on a bike without a windshield though. harley sells a pouch for the ear speakers to mount in on half helmets.

We just upgraded our old model Sena to the 20S. What an improvement! The SMH10 always had a lot of wind noise but not the 20S. My wife has a Bell full face and I have a Bell Pit Boss. Got ours from Revzilla.

This is the 20s mounted on a Daytona half helmet with Harley speaker pockets for the speakers. As soon as I can settle on a pair of ear buds I plan on giving them a try.

Works very well, even when standing on the floorboards raising my head well above the windshield.
