~36mpg for a '10EG?

my 10 roadglide, 96, chisel air cleaner, andrews 48 cams and PCV gets low 40's at 65, mid 30's at 75-80 and high 20's above 80. Yesterdays high speed 560 plus mile run averaged 29.9 MPG. average speed factoring in all stops and a half hour for lunch was 72.25 mph. excluding gas/nature stop and lunch avg speed was 91.8. So you definitely, answered you own question. Wide open throttle really impacts mileage. High speed freeways and open roads really impact your mileage. Wyoming and Montana are excellent for this travel with 80 MPH speed limits (avg speed 10% higher than limit) and lower traffic counts.

I've noticed it's a whole lot easier doing 70+ on the EG with the batwing fairing than it was on the RK with the windshield. So, I guess ~36mpg is about right.
