HAHA you guys crack me up - disappointed because a 100% stock motor is just a little more powerful than your stage whatever hot rodded motor? Apples to apples my friends! I suspect this new motor is going to be a powerhouse with tuning and especially a cam change. Throw in ported heads and hang on!
Now if the moderators can get rid of the two pages of HP/TQ guesses we can get on with the regularly scheduled programming. Carry on Jamie!
If 80hp gets you jazzed up then good for you. My guess is if they would get rid of that chain drive cam and chain drive primary the numbers would be much better.
Looking at the air cleaner we can see a complete redesign on the outside, however the changes are not only external. A new air filter design, backing plate, breather tube assembly and a larger 55mm throttle body also reside underneath the redesigned air cleaner cover. Due to the redesigned throttle body there will also need to be a newly designed high-flow Pro Billet air cleaner kit.
Take note in the third in fourth pictures the bolt in the upper right is a security allen bolt so be prepared to have one handy if you are looking to make your own changes.
catalog is offering a stage III 107 to 114 kit ( 113tq/111 hp for $1600) as well as a torque cam or a hp cam.
nice
Mike
...so an aftermarket bolt-in cam "should" at least bump the 107 numbers to at somewhere in the 90/115 and the 114 to 122/126 with HP biased cams hitting over 130 HP?
I rode the 2017 Street Glide and I am comparing it to my 2012 103 with a full vance and hines header with hi output slip on mufflers with a Super Tuner tune that says on paper 89 hp and can't remember torque but anyway, the 2017 felt stronger and after getting used to the clutch, I liked it better. I will wait for the exhaust to come out before I make any decisions, but that Hard Candy Red paint option looks fantastic. Will get one someday.

I'm more than satisfied with that potential on the 114.
Now about that pinned crankshaft.........
