Default Distance till empty

I recently put se 204 cams and power vision target tune in last week in my 08 sg

Now I'm having problems with the fuel gauge bouncing around like crazy and the distance till empty is way off anyone have any advice on how to reset or will it correct itself over a few tanks of gas?

If the fuel gauge is bouncing without the bike moving, you have a bad connection or short somewhere in the circuit. That's not going to fix itself. Check the electrical connections in the tank. Not a cure all but try using a little dielectric grease on all the plugs. If the tank was removed for the cam install, a connector may be loose, broken or corroded.

I agree with Edward, the good news is there is nothing fundamentally wrong, the bad news is that you probably have a simple connector problem to chase down and fix. May be as simple as a chafed wire causing a false ground.

A dab of dielectric grease on every connector that you unplug is good practice. And when you reconnect them, plug and unplug a few times.
