Where would you move it to or rather what locations would work?
How do you like the fans?
Do you have an oil cooler too then?

I'd move the horn to the front of the battery and bolt it on the inside and extend the horn wires. As Joe mentioned earlier, I think that's how his are mounted.

As far as the fans. I do like them, they seem to work. Also get a lot of comments about them. Also running a Jagg 10 row low mount. No fan on it.

I have a '13 CVO Ultra and in the summer of '16 we had just exited the freeway and on our way toe the dealership in Clarksville, TN when I felt something hit my left leg.
When I got fully stopped, I looked down and my horn was hanging loose, supported by ONE wire.
I pulled the wire clip loose and tossed the horn in my tour pack until we got to the dealership. After inspecting it, I determined that I had lost the two bolts that secure the horn to the bracket. The folks at the dealership gave me two bolts but the weather and my engine was too hot for me to be messing with a darned horn so I didn't mess with it until I got home.

Now the fun begins--
Instead of using the two (short) bolts that the dealer had given me, I decided to use to slightly longer ones, with a dab of Blue Loctite to make sure that they didn't fall out again. and all went well until this season.

After getting my bike out in the spring of this year, I discovered that my horn sounded "anemic" and needed to be replaced.
Got myself a new H-D replacement "louder" horn and installed it.
(My friend liked it so much he went and bought an identical one for his bike).

Last month as I was on my second trip to SC this season, I needed my horn and it was totally DEAD! Nothing, Nada!

SO, I went back to the dealership to get another horn and thankfully they had JUST received ONE in an inbound shipment.
Same H-D part number on the box, the same part number on a label on the horn, but the lot number printed on the horn itself was different than the one on my old horn.
I'm hoping that like bearings and voltage regulators that seems to have some quality issues, perhaps is the same issue with horns?

BTW, Wards Fans here too but no issues with them or with the OEM horn bracket.....yet

reporting back from 11 months ago. All I did back then was put a thin washer in and put a little more torque on the nut. so far no fans hitting or bracket drama

like the louder '14 horn replacement. working well for 2 or 3 years now. con 45$ vs walmart 8$

Sounds like (no pun intended) it was the horn bracket that took a dump not the horn itself.

fiamm horns (low and high) work great, extend the wires and mount to gas tank bolts. better sound, less chance of water damage, great upgrade

That made a lot more sense to me, too.
