@!#$%& I cannot get that jackshaft bolt off. Can't BELIEVE how tight that thing is. WTF?

Use a impact driver on it.

Belts go 100k plus. Save your time and money and reuse the belt.

you don't need any of those tools unless u want to replace the seal that's in the main gear or change the primary bearing, also if u have impact to break the read loctite on big nut. Just have in gear with two by four in front of rear tire. The rag thing is for the clutch & comp nuts. The seal inside the gear looks ok & bearing.

Have this rock in there... should I leave it alone ? It's been there for the past 20k.

Change the belt. This one had a rock hole in it for 20K miles also. They always seem to fail in the most remote locations. My buddies did 3,000 miles from home. Three days and a few thousand dollars later he was back on the road with a new belt and a rebuilt transmission.

looks like the race has walked inward causing your leak on the mainshaft......
