Yeah, found an Advanced down the road that was open. Picked up a Duralast 15 amp charger. Took a couple of hours, but it WAS able to bring them both back. Charger ran me like 80 bucks i think? definitely, a good thing to pick up. And yeah, Transport Mode, good idea. Almost like i didn't already admit in my OP that i messed that up.
SO. For anyone coming here like I did hoping someone had an answer. This worked.
Duralast 12+ charger. it plugs into the wall, so its not protable, unless you have the plug in your truck. Ran my buddys battery from 0% to 100% in about 3-3.5 hours.
Ran my battery from 19% to 98% in about 3 hours. (i couldnt wait till 100%). The charger will pump amps, and then adjust based on battery level etc.
This was in March, and here we are Mid-April and i have had NO issues with the battery. Hold a charge no problem etc.
