floorboard interchange
if you have not had pass floorboards, they can whack you in the calves while duckpaddling in the driveway if left down-
my wife preferred the SG pegs to floor boards. by hooking her heels on the pegs her feet stayed in place and the knee & ankle angle was more comfy.
on floorboards her feets would slide out from under her, making for fidgitty passenger
with touring peg mounts, you can get what ever style pegs you want- esp if you have a "theme" in mind- mismatched controls ain;t cool

Its been 12 years since I have had rear floorboards and now that you mention the calf whacking, it annoyed me every time. I have never ridden on rear with boards so no idea what it is like back there, or if pegs are better than boards, but I see your wifes point
Pegs may look cleaner since it is primarily a solo bike and all this passenger mod expense is for the one time that my wife will ever go out on it anyway. In general Thai wives do not like sun and wind, when there is a perfectly good aircon alternative! Single girls are more easily persuaded.
I have 2 styles of pegs off my 00 Dyna. Will these fit Touring brackets? Might blend in better on an older bike than a more modern designer peg?
it's only 1 bolt, easy enough to bolt them on when mounting the pass seat and remove when remove...if you get black they'd blend right in.
