My RGUSE came with heated seat and grips. I thought it to be funny at first but have actually used both and am glad they're there. My wife insisted on a heated Corbin when I upgraded the seat.

Hi all,
I bought a HD Sundowner for my Road King and had Mean City do a double memory foam rebuild on it because of a big back surgery. I had them install their heated element and use it all the time in Montana. If fact one of my last rides in AZ last Oct I was happy I had it. Can't use the high settings, way to warm for my "boys" :-) ...goldie

I had heated seats on my BMW RT, I agree that heated grips would be a better choice.

Any help would be appreciated.
My wife and have traveled to Florida, Utah, Montana and Banff on our 2015 Roadglide. The day I bought it, I installed the Mustang Heated Touring seat. My wife loves it. I've turned the heat on a few times, coming home late from work on 40 degree or colder days. It feels darn good and does help warm you.

I ride a snowmobile in temps as low as negative 20 degrees. No heated seats just heated grips and my butt doesn't get cold.Just don't see the value in the seat and I ride my motorcycle when it's well below freezing.

I am a dedicated winter rider and have never found a need for a heated seat. I ride down into the teens. After all, the foam in the seat is a great insulator and not so long after you sit on the seat it is up to your butt temperature from body heat.

My CVO's came with heated seats and I have never used them. Grips yes many times. I don't remember the make but I read the specs on another touring bike with heated floor boards. I would like to try that out.

Default Heated seat

Wife and I ride double up in all temps from low 20's to over 100 temps and we have went the sheep skin route and the comfort level in all temps is beyond anything you'll ever need. SS covers keep your seats & butts cool in the summer and overly warm in the cold, found that it's actually awkward and uncomfortable without it ! Many choices here the only one we recommend is the thick fur full skin or if you like the thinner look Alaska Leather is also very good.

Hey now, I grew up in Connecticut, Pennsylvania and then spent a decade on year in Detroit. I know cold! Which is exactly why I live in Southern California now! But it does have its moments here. Yesterday (Sunday) morning when I left for one of the local Children's Hospital Christmas Toy runs . . . it was 38*F and I'm about a mile from the beach. Not what I'd call bitter cold . . . but you can bet that my heated grips were turned on! Later in the day it got up to 65*F and so I relaxed a bit. Wait till January 1st and the Rose Bowl Parade is on national TV. It's always in the mid to high 80's, warm, dry, not a cloud in the sky . . . . but the 30 days leading up to it and the two months following ain't quite the same! Still . . . . not anything to complain about though!
