i am going to by myself a corbin duel tour seat. i am wonder if heated seats work? do they just give you a hot sweaty *** or does the heat radiate through your body? if you are dressed in heavy clothing can you still feel the heat? thank`s B
I had a heated seat along with heated grips on my BMW's.
They together make a HUGE difference on cold days. Very worth it in my opinion. Especially for the significant others, whom I've found get cold sooner than me.
Had a heated seat on my Harley, worthless. Have heated grips on my FZ1, worthless. I wouldn't pay for either of them.
Have heated jacket liner and gloves, love 'em !!!

When I got my CVO Ultra few months back all my buddies said "What a wuss, real bikers don't need no stinkin heated seat or grips" yet in 40 degrees I'm a wearin mesh gloves and my yass is warm. Never knew what I was missin. I wear FXRG leathers and you can feel the heat even thru those.
From my perspective it would be a waste of money. My *** don't get cold as do my fingers and toes and I will ride with temps in the 20's. A friend and I were riding in the mountains of Va yesterday and did not get back until about 8:00 PM. My new HD heated gloves suck and waiting for a replacement pair.
Never had one, and dont see a need myself. I have riden in 20 degree weather and the only thing that got cold was my face. I just bundle up with a warm jacket thermals and good winter riding gloves. I aslo switched to a full face helmet to cure the cold face
Heated Seats Are Worth Every Nickle. First and Formost, The Wife Loves it, We have Gone Cross Country on Our CVO Ultra and It Feels Great When The Temp. Drops. My Wife Tells Everyone How Much She Loves The Heated Seat. I Really Like It As Well. MY CVO Came With Heated Grips and They are Nice As Well. I Would not put a heated seat on a cruiser, I would install a heated seat on a touring bike.

I had them on a Goldwing when I had it and they were great. The wife added the check heated kit to her 09 Street Glide and I like hers well enough that I plan to put it on my Ultra. We both think they are worth it.
