88 upgrade
New to the group from Colorado and looking for some solid information. I used a forum similar to this for my fire arms and I really like the solid feed back from knowledgeable owners.
My question for this group is I am looking to increase HP in my 02 RoadKing with an 88. In my search I am finding many different options. I currently have a Stage 1 and a mapping system and I am thinking about moving to a 95. Any suggestions on where to best research this for functionality and price?
This question has probably been posted before but I could not find the info I was looking for. Thanks in advance for the input.

aside from a 95 or 98 kit, headwork is sorely needed on the early 88's.
there are a number of vendors who have packages with known, repeatable results.
forum sponsor fuelmoto is well liked for their customer service.
i'd suggest you have a look there.
for "theory" nightrider.com has some great motor basic info , and articles on the TC88 by Kip Woodring and/or Donny Peterson

Did you go with the Kit Harley offers or did you go after market and due the heads also? I am seeing the price from Harley at about $2,800 but if you go all in after market it can reach $8000
Harley is kinda the last name in performance, it's just not "what they do".
They offer some kits to keep the service depts busy but the cost can be a killer.
best bang for buck is the aftermarket.
