I actually ride mine up, but, it is a definite balancing act. I basically slide my feet along the edges of the table. Precarious but works for me.

I ride it on but I have some 6x6 pieces that I use for my feet.

I use the Handy with the wings removed and a Condor wheel chock that I can remove with two pins so I can ride my SUV over it. Park the scooter in a trailer for the winter. Bought the lift used for $500.00 and added the wings and Condo. Many,Many bikes have been on without any problems.

I ride mine onto the lift table into the aforementioned chock and step off it

If you have the space, get a quality table, otherwise get a J&S jack. Perfect for washing/working on, and when you don't need it, it can be stored in a corner or under a tool chest, (like mine). With 2 touring bikes, a car, and a bar in the garage, I don't have room for a table! Good luck in your decision. Ride safe

Default Black Widow Lift table

I bought the Black widow Bw-Prolift 1500 lbs table last week. Took me about 2 hours to set it up with the side ramps. First ride up and the rear wheel wasn't all the way on and rolled back down the ramp sideways. After being thrown off and landing on the concrete, took a smoke break and then moved the lift forward to get the front tire off the ramp. Then I was able to pick the bike up. Second ride up was better and now I marked my spot on the lift to where I know I am all the way on the lift. The lift table is 7" when lowered and the ramp is at 20 degrees. so I made a wooded 4 foot long ramp that changed the metal one to 9 degrees and the wood ramp to 5 degree. This should be a smoother ride up. Still need to add the non skid to the metal and wood.
