I like the idea of a big powerplant at a good price but thinking there are too many potential problems to seriously consider this bike. Does anybody here have an opinion?
(Hope I am in the right forum, mods can move if needed)
EDIT: THANK YOU ALL FOR SOUNDING OFF. I TEND TO LUST AFTER POWER BUT YOU ALL HAVE CONFIRMED WHAT I WAS THINKING. IT WAS AN HOUR AND A HALF FROM HERE AND MY BIKE IS PUT AWAY RIGHT NOW SO THANKS FOR SAVING ME THE TRIP TOO.

Yea. Avoid like the plague. Getting parts will be a bitch, and how did they cobble together an Evo-style motor into a TC fram? I prefer all HD, since you KNOW what you have then, and build it the way you want so you know what's in it. Asking too much, too.
Evo in a TC???? Where do ya'll get that from? Looks like it's all Evo to me. OP, if that's the sort of thing you're looking for then why not ring that fancy phone number for some more information. The "2003" is misleading but perhaps that was when the big motor was installed. Bike looks pretty neat to me, I wouldn't brush it too quick. As far as knowing what problems might be experienced down the road with a second hand hot rod harley, well...........
I have a 98" S&S on my TC along with the best of everything my Indy suggested. The bike runs awesome and I wouldn't worry about taking it anywhere. Ask the seller questions and you might find it is a great bike. Also if things are right, I don't think the price is far off. JMO.
