Once again torx use the right size bit. If you even think it is to tight use an impact drive correctly and you will be fine. Simple tool been around forever. Use to be something most everyone I knew had for working on a bike. Those old corroded screws in aluminum side covers on metric it popped them right out . I've had mine sense Highschool. And that was a long time ago. Much better than trying to use a powered one.
And very inexpensive.

Every time I do something on the bike that involves a Torx bolt I
go back with either a stainless or chrome allen . You can polish
the ends up fairly easy .
Oh I had a great experience. the bolts that did come out; 3 did not ,my problem was the foot lbs of torque they used; way back when It was too much, prolly never checkedthe torque just gorilla screwed in.
Bolts that are stripped can be taken out with an impact driver. ( The old school kind) this type of driver is used with a hammer, as you strike the end it forces the bolt to turn as it is struck. If the bolts are torqued 8-9 foot lbs AND ''never seized'', They will never strip, imho.

Some people crank 'em down like it's a steam engine, there is zero pressure in the primary case, it really doesn't take much for a good seal. Even old gaskets work for this very reason.
