I just got back from Daytona and am wondering if any one had any problems with theft while down there this year. I have heard in the past it was a major concern. So I thought I would see if any of our forum members heard of any problems or experienced any problems. My only problem while I was down there was cagers texting and driving like idiots, whats new.
Cagers texting is not exclusive to Daytona. Not to hijack thread but when are LEOs gonna start enforcing the laws and ticket texters? Glad you had good time at Daytona.
some States it is completely legal to text while driving-
stupid huh?
Mike
And the "law makers" made it damn near impossible to enforce without an admission from the violator (and who's going to admit that right??). In our state they can use the GPS, call in emergencies, and use the "text to talk", and "siri" (per our last in-service legal update...). They have to actively be banging in numbers, or words to get a charge...and you really need to be lucky to catch that, unless you sweet talk them into an admission...
I had a close call, this girl wanted to go home with me from one of them bars. well after realizing she was in just a little bit too good of shape and probably would have kicked my *** and robbed me,I passed on the offer.
another time down there i almost paid to park. Maybe I should have ,after jumping onto the side walk nearly going threw the window of that store right in the front on main street corner.
I do not know where you drink, but most places had beers under three bucks. I think I paid $3.50 at boot hill for Yuengling. Pabst was 2 bucks....some places $2.50. I did find a beer or two for four bucks...but most were about three-ish.
$15 bucks a beer....is fake news. I DID pay $8 for a pork chop sandwich at Iron Horse, but I must say that the pork chop was good.....and I was hungry.
