Ok, good for you! My Harley shop wants 1500 to swap the bars and 400 to install axeo cartridges. For $2K Im gonna give it a shot myself 😁
$1500 to swap bars!!??That's CRAZY!! I paid around $400.00 to go from stock to the KST's!!!
400 for axeo install is close. I paid LEGEND $300 for the install out at Sturgis in August.

yup, they quoted pretty much 2-day labor (10 hours) since lines need to be changed and hydraulic fluid flushed. Im gonna take a time and do it myself, its a garage party after all 😁

I'm waiting on 14" KST Straight Jackets myself. Had 12" ready to go but they were too short when I test mounted them. Doh! Now my front end is all apart...
Really hoping I can make the brake and clutch lines reach. I think if the brake line is extended you need to do a dealer computer recalibration on the brakes, and swapping the clutch cable can be a project.

Rule of thumb is any bar higher than 12" requires both longer electrical harnesses and fluid lines and longer throttle by wire setup if your bike is so equipped. Of course there are exceptions as I installed 12" bars on my buddy's 2018 Triglide which is really a SG front end and I had to install longer switch harnesses in both pods. I also did internal wiring for him. Both fluid lines were snug but worked. I seriously doubt you will not have to go longer on everything with 14" bars but I wish you the best. Also once you crack open the front brake bajo fitting to change the line the dealer has to hook up the HD computer to calibrate the ABS.
whether you have a cable or hyd clutch its work to replace them.

Thanks for confirming. I have the wire extensions in case I need them. KST says their 14" will fit the stock cables, but I'm still crossing my fingers. Hopefully the bars show up this week.

I currently run 13 road6 customs bars and stock lines worked fine, I didnt have to unclip anything, 14 may require some re-routing, but should still work, one of my buddies installed 14 KSTs on his 17 Road King police and stock lines worked no problem. Harnesses needed an extension. Now, my 16 bars Im waiting for will require new lines. As far as bleeding the abs module I spoke to the tech and its still doable without having to connect the digi tech as long as you dont turn the ignition on and initiate abs checkup sequence while bleeding the line.

As a previous owner of 14" Spearheads I can tell you that you do NOT! need any extensions. All stock cables work fine...))
