Hi Lamattino I have a 2004 Road King Classic and a 2020 Road King Special. The RKS is night and day better! I love both bikes but push come to shove I would keep the RKS. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra coin on the RDRS option.

I really like the etched image and wanted to carry it over to the dashboard. I met with a local airbrush artist and I provided him with the above image and gave him artistic freedom. Below is the finished artwork.
That looks great!

Thanks. I got it all back together today. I also had the painter paint the chrome bezel on the speedometer to eliminate all of the chrome on the dash. Sorry about the picture being in my garage, it has rained all afternoon here.

Wow that's even more impressive seeing it assembled. The bike color and seat really compliment the dash! I feel your pain with the heat, humidity, and rain. We've been baking and sweating here in Central Virginia.

After a recent trip out of town where my cell phone battery died as I was relying on navigation to get me where I was going, I started looking into charging options. I ended up going with the Ciro3d Cybercharger. I’ve always thought it looked too big and bulky and didn’t like the idea of having to run the cables to the battery. I noticed they had a new slimmer design with smaller arms that looked a little better. After deciding it was the best option for me, I ordered one and did the install myself.

I had never removed a gas tank, but it proved to be really easy. I was able to route the wires under the tank, to the battery and zip tie them along the way for a look that is acceptable to me. The whole thing is still kind of big but having the extra real estate on my 14” bars makes things look less cramped. The charger itself works great and I’m happy to have a way to keep the phone charged on the bike now.

The offset perch mount moves the charger out of the way of the buttons so it’s not in the way at all.

cool, I guess John is offering that image now. They sent me the skull, but different crown at that time and I changed the crown that suits the skull better. Looking good!

I really like mine, no more charging cables! I wired mine to a switch power, don’t like to wire things directly to battery 😁

Hi Thanks!

I will be doing some demos in the black hills coming up so I get no sales pressure. I will also ride the heritage but I even as small as I am (5'3") I feel the RK has the "magic".

Default 2021 Deadwood Green

2021 in Deadwood Green. Not in love with the wind splitter windshield, keeps the chest pretty clean, but the head gets hammered. Thinking about trying a taller shield from Freedom Shields. Also, looking for suggestions on a replacement seat. Not into the “road sofa” seats. Looking for rider and pillion. Any comments would be appreciated. (How about the Bad Boyz Freedom Series?)

thanks-

Thinking about trying a taller shield from Freedom Shields.

thanks-[/QUOTE]

I got some pointors from some helpful guys on this thread, that going big may not always help and that wind gush may be coming from around the knees.
I looked around and came across this Video, which explains why -

Personally, I am trying out road warrior fairing and have 13 and 15 inch shields to try. I hope to get them by Monday and hopefully one of them will work.
