The All things ROAD KING SPECIAL THREAD
I have a police model road king so my main display lives on the handlebars. so remember that when gauging how much room is there. It IS adjustable slightly. the fairing can change angles slightly.
In this photo, I still have my STOCK Road King Standard bars. Also know as "heritage style" bars. Which came stock on Road Kings Standards starting in 2014.

In any case there is plenty of space behind, I could fit a pouch inside...
Is it a 13" windshield ? and how is the protection ?
This shield is a 15". I also have a 13". I felt a difference between the 13+15.
This is just my opinion. It's WAY better than nothing. A regular shield keeps more wind off you BUT I feel that I got less buffeting with this shield over a regular windshield. a little more wind but less buffeting.
a side note-their handguards finish the look and they actually work!
I had the same fitment on my ex Low Rider S with the MS handguards, I really liked the look and the efficiency was good even with an 11", I think I would get a 13" for the RK, I am 5"11...
I have seen on another thread that you have a regular windshield now, the protection is certainly better, but as you said there is more buffeting, but you certainly prefere this fitment...
I am not sure that the protection will be worse with the RW than with the Windsplitter...

Although I struggled getting the old wires OUT of my stock bars (I will not be getting heated grips unless I redo a connector! Lol), the install was pretty simple. All cables and hoses reached just fine, I only had a cut a few zip ties in and behind the headlight.
The only downside right now is the extra holes that the RGS bars have due to the larger clamps used on the brake and clutch lever perches. One of them is covered with my Quad Lock mount, but I will have to buy a grommet or so something to plug the right side hole.
Sorry for the mess in my shop around the pics!!!

Honestly I never would have chosen or ordered white. But this bike was at the dealer, is a 24 with 850 miles on it, and 6k cheaper than a new one. And it spoke to me. Couldnt stop coming back to it.
Pictures dont even begin to do it justice. The paint is amazing.
