What is the front wheel size and what front fender is that? Please.
It's the stock 19" Prodigy wheel. Black Lyndall rotor, powder coated rotor bolts. Front fender is HD. It's the stock one that comes on the touring ST models. I think the combination of the fender & the black rotor is what gives the wheel a larger look. VS the big ol stock RKS fender that covers up half of the wheel.
All of the touring models have went to this fender except the RKS. Harley doesn't give any love to the road king special.
If you can't tell, I discovered the awesomeness of black several bikes ago...
I agree that when freshly cleaned, waxed and polished, black really pops. But damn is it hard to keep clean!!!! My '05 E-Glide was "smoky gold." My dad called in metallic dirt, and that was about right. That bike never looked dirty. But it never looked as good when all spiffed up as my black bikes have.

I just read a post on the "other" RK thread about changing the front fender. I like the look, but I have a question concerning the front fender functionality.
How well does it keep the rain and splash off your feet compared to the Mullet fender HD sold us?
I ask because I put an oversized tire on the front of my FatBob and the splash control went away. Any rain or puddles or wet roads I rode on the larger tire channeled the water directly onto my feet and shins. I ended up going back to the stock size on the next set or rubber.
I run the bars from the Road Glide Special…might not be the coolest but to me the most comfortable bars I ever had….lot of pullback!
In terms of suspension, I can highly recommend Wilbors Novomat. Not so big in the US but almost standard here in Europe. Laidlaws Harley Davidson made a few you tube videos about it (easy to find in the search function) in case you would like to get some more information.
I think they look good. I have a police seat on my bike and the Fused Lo bars aren't working for me. this is a GOOD idea. will these bars work with stock road king wires and cables? Also, which years roadglide special?

The Bars are from a 23 Road Glide Special, wiring and cables was no issue at all, did not need any extension. Bar was relatively cheap also (around 350 from the dealer), still happy after 2 years
I've been riding the Wind Splitter since the beginning on my RKS and while I like the protection it provides I find it doesn't do much for the looks and I'm wondering if I'll fit a Road Warrior instead, I had one on my ex Low Rider S and I really like the looks, but I wonder if the protection will be as good (I was happy with it at the time), what do you think?
