I'm kind of shocked to hear that you guys have had trouble with JP. When I order from them (and I do a good bit) that box is on my doorstep in 2 days. I'm always amazed at how fast they get from what I assume is Florida to West Virginia.

The only thing that bothers me is sometimes they won't carry an item I need to go with another item. For instance, a few weeks ago I ordered a Motion Pro neck bearing puller. They didn't offer the Motion Pro race puller. So, I can pull the bearing but not the race? Hello...Dennis Kirk...

Actually, the items may be reversed but you get the idea.

Dennis Kirk is fine retailer too. I buy from them as well and never had problem. Also buy from Summit and Motosport, and countless small and direct to consumer manufacturers - I have 3 bikes.

Honestly cannot say which is best. All are very good and I have not had a problem with any, yet. Even returns have been pleasant and easy (but I am a polite, respectful businessman myself. Fairness, etiquette, ethics also helps). With the amount of stuff I order on an almost monthly basis, I would expect to have had a number of problems based on what thread content like this suggests. But nope, not one issue. What's that tell me? There are two sides to every story and legitimate claims of poor performance/business practices are few and far between.

Actually the only vendor I am not fond of is Harley, oddly enough. Long turn-around times, challenging return policy and restocking fee (in this day of internet age - seriously!?). And most frustrating, the majority of items I get from a Harley OEM vendor including 'in shop' are in open packages - the item was removed and put back in then taped or stapled shut. In other words, the item you would not select off the shelf.

Anyway, to 'Second Wind', I hope your parts arrive as planned, fingers crossed for you.
