I just recently purchased a 2009 Harley Electra Glide Classic and a friend said Harley offers a coverage that if you break down on the road, you will come to me to repair. Could you tell me more.
sounds like the esp, extended service plan. only, they wont come to you to fix it, but will provide a tow to the dealer, and a $50 deductible on covered repairs.
Agreed....most insurance companies have some sort of "roadside assistance" (ie: towing) coverage. Check your policy, you may already have it, but if not, it's a very inexpensive add-on to your policy.
I know of no one who will come and make repairs roadside. Maybe give you a jump start or fuel but repairs, no.
Several ESPs and other services will come and pick up the bike and take it to a dealer/shop. Some even pay some towards lodging if you're on the road.
I had the HD plan on my bike and was happy with it although I never had to have it towef.
