I Joined a couple of days ago in search for an answer to a fuel filter problem on my 2001 Ultra Classic which I just bought back in February, this is my first Harley and I love it. It looks like it has the stage one on it with Vance and Hines exhaust and sound so good, it my favorite part of the bike.
After I bought the bike I found out that the fuel filter is no longer available and there was no aftermarket filter so I looked online and found a filter that looked like it would work so I wanted to share what I did with you in hopes to help someone out.
I used a Wix filter 33490 which is an automotive filter but it has the right hose fittings and is kind of close to the original. After I put it all together I went for about a 20 mile ride through Orem and Provo and it had no problems.
