Default RK backrest: fixed or adjustable?

Any pros or cons to the adjustable backrest mount compared to the "fixed" version? Other than cost?

If you have an adjustable, you can move it all the way forward when you are backing your bike and use your back , it helps

adjustable is nice. Easy to change while you ride and change position to be more comfortable

Mine is adjustable and I bought it 7 years ago when I bought the bike. I've adjusted it to a comfortable spot and have left it alone for about the last 6.9 years. Once you find the sweet spot, you really don't move it around much.

Adjustable for sure. It allows you to lounge out on long rides!
