What's this?
I have had my 07 Ultra Classic since last July and today I noticed this plug hanging behind the air filter. Does anyone know what this is? The dealer installed a battery connection but it is on the other side of the bike by the saddle bag.

Wing if i rember from a previous post is a plug used for emmisiions for oversea bikes, they all have them. im shure one of the gurus will chime in but if im not being brain dead you can tuck it back and wire tie it down. but dont hold me to that im new to alot of this

Thats the blinker fluid filler cap, never leave home low on blinker fluid....
I started looking around and all the injected big twins I have access too have them. carbed bikes didnt. er well a 06 sporty and a 93 heritage didnt.

Yep, its the feed for European models air intake control. Its not enabled on US models, and wont be soon on mine either.
Dosent do much, helps reduce lean condition on stocker by limiting air flow at certain points in the rev range, and allows low emissions to be attained.

the plug is the connection for the HD refit disgronificator kit. The part is not well known and is only installed at the request of the owner. However, most HD mechanics or service guys will not recognize the name.
Just tell them you want to hook up the new 'dumb ***' control. Again, they will give you a stupid look...then tell them it is the control that keeps dumb *** RUB riders off the bike....and it also doubles as a ejection seat connection port.
