Exhaust help
wrapped pipes can hold moisture and rot the metal underneath- this could maybe be more an issue is a damp, salty climate.
you might d better with a "jet" or other type ceramic coating
weird crossover problem- is the oil pan bolt stripped?
I have a supertrapp on my fxr, it's been on there for over 25 years, I love it. stainless so it won;t rot/rust- and tunable so a change in cam or other motor work can be re-tuned to take best advantage.
these pipes can also be adjusted to be about as loud or quiet as anything out there- while still making great power.
Supertrapps have been near the top of multiple shootouts for over 40 years
various versions available for various model bikes
these pipes have a brace that fits around the tranny end cover bolts and an arm extends to the rear to hold the muffler- that way the entire exhaust moves with the rubbermount drivetrain.
this weighs about 18 pounds less than my stock exhaust did

To me, having duals on a dresser just doesn't look 'right'...but a two into one just looks fine!
