Speaker Switch Issue

There is a reason for everything I do, and asking about the amp is one of them.
If you have the HD amp installed (don’t know about others) the codes will show some speakers open, that is just how the system is wired. But that code also shows up when the amp chips are bad and no amp connected. (That info is somewhere in that sticky thread.)
Bars are another: it is very easy when doing bars, not only to screw up wiring, but to reinstall the radio with insufficient clearance between it and those handlebar screws I mentioned. Repeated smacking of the bottom of the radio on those screws is one of the things that causes the solder joints on the amp chips to crack.
As far as testing the switch, just use a VOM. The switches from the inner faring cap assembly get connected under the faring, just follow the wiring.
Unplug it and test as you would any other switch.
At this point, if the switch tests good, I would call http://www.ironcrossaudio.com/ , as mentioned by Dr. Tiki
