Default Throttle not 'snapping' back ?

Hi guys. My first question since moving over from the Dyna section. Was messing around with my 06 Road Glides bars, taking throttle controls off and when I put it all back the thing won't 'snap' back. Looking down to the 'carb' body where the cables go to, it seems to me there should be a return spring down there. The cables work o.k. but just stick instead of returning. Both cables well lubed and free of snags. Is the spring missing if indeed there should be one ? Needless to say I don't have a manual yet so any help is welcomed...b.

By golly I fixed it ! All day I have been reading 'adjust cables at controls' and saying to myself 'well I never touched them there', I just went out and loosened up the 'adjusters' and re-tightened and throttle is 'snapping' back like a champ ! Well done everyone who was going to tell me to adjust them, we licked it !!!...b.

Excellent! As I was reading yer first post, I was thinking that the two cables were working against each other, and clearly that's what you discovered...do get that FSM...no forum is a substitute!
