So time to pick some cams! Any suggestions? 10.5-1, 110ci, SE heads, 58mm throttle body, bigger injectors, Freedom Performance true duals. Ride fairly aggressive tho not to bad. Will see some 2 up riding as well. S&S 585? Andrews 57? Something else?

Sorry to hear about your troubles with this motor Angryman. I think I'd have lost it having purchased it recently and all. Hope all turns out well and I'll definitely be following this thread.

Thanks Davii. To say I was pissed when it happened would be an understatement!

Go to the tech forum and dyno section. Look for your engine size, compression, etc.. Check out the sheets and see what cams they are running.
When I was building my motor I did this. I also contacted Sheffer performance and asked him for a recommendation.
Either way, talk to someone that works with these motors everyday and is respected amongst their peers. They will give you honest advice and suggestions for what you want out of your build.

Been looking in the engine section but had not really found anything. I had not thought to look in the Dyno section. Thanks.

Lots of builders on the forums that would help you. I spoke to Sheffer because my tuner knows him. I went with his recommendation, Cycle-Rama 575. When/if I get the heads done that cam set will work fine.
If you get a chance to look at Sheffer Performance dyno sheets, check out how smooth his tunes are. The guy can tune a bike for sure

Just got off the phone with Sheffer and his recommendation was the Cycle-Rama 595
Glad you got professional advice. Is this what you will go with? Not sure, how close he is to you but if its not to far it would be worth going to see him for the tune afterwards. His dyno sheets are as smooth as they get

Right now that is what I am leaning towards. Have to wait and see what the builder says once he gets my engine apart. If it is a total loss then I am going to bite the bullet and get the S&S 124. If it is salvageable then yes the 595's. While it would be great to have Sheffer do the tune I am not sure it will happen. He is 12 hours away from me.
