I need to vent about my HD Dealer and need the HD main office complaint department. Does anyone know how to get in touch with HD Headquarters?
I know I'm pissing into the wind but, I need to vent anyway.
The HD Website doesn't give any help.
What will do even more good is to write them (customer service - address on the HD website). I was pissed off cuz of a recall on my Sportster that was taking months and months because of unavailability of a part. Three days after I wrote customer service I miraculously got a call from the dealer asking when I would like to bring the bike in for the fix. Someone in Milwaukee pulled some strings and got that part to me pronto. Never got a call or a follow-up from Milwaukee but I'm sure the dealer assured them all was right.
You can call them as Lowrider says (I did and all I got was the part is not available song and dance) but if you put it on paper it seems to be harder for them to ignore. It's worth the few minutes it takes.
hope you had better luck than I did. I put a 200K deposit down on a bike in 1998, with a written contract specifiying when bike would arrive model, color etc. bike never came, dealer tried to sub. with a different model, I refused delivery they refused refund. said wait until next model year. MOCO told me too bad, independant dealers can operate as they see fit. Had to have an attorney send a letter threatening law suit to get my money back.
