I just put a new one (first time) on my 2005 Ultra yesterday. The guy that did the work said I could have waited to the end of this season, but I did it anyway. I had 13,500 on the rear, would have probably gotton anohter 4 or 5K on it. Had the factory on it, put the same back on. I always ride solo, I weigh 230lbs. Ride from April - December up here in MA east coast. I'm very easy on the bike though.

i,m riding a 05 ultra classic 24,ooo miles and i,m in need of another rear tire ,rubber still good on front . ive gotten over 12,000 miles on the rear tires both times running same tire that was put on at the factory the dunlop harley davidson
