What seats are anyone running when riding two up? I have the Kraus Moto seat but have been eying the Saddlemen Road Sofa Carbon but that gets pricey!
its not a "cool" seat but the one I just posted above is off a 2008 road glide and was $100....most comfortable seat front and back we've ever tried. not sure if its true but I read 2008 was a ONE year only time they used this particular expensive foam....Thats what I put on if we're going far.....backrest isnt needed but Im trying it out.

If we are around town my wife doesn't mind the saddlemen step up but for any distance currently she insists on the hammock seat we picked up cheap. In the near future I'm probably buying a lucky Dave's get lucky seat.

Results vary from butt to butt, but I couldn't wait to sell my Road Sofa. It was an absolute brick for both the wife and I, and even if it "breaks in" after 1k miles, I'd need a hip replacement well before I hit 1k.
I had my stock seat modified with a gel pad in the riders area and some slight trimming of the foam to move me back 1/2", I like it so much I bought a new seat cover for it and run it 100% of the time.
(Still need to staple everything in place, work the wrinkles out, etc)
