Default What is needed to by pass ABS

A month ago I picked up a 08 Road Glide and the front brake is hard to pull now, so with everything I have read, it points to the ABS unit. I would like to by pass the system with a new front brake line.
I know I need the brake line for a non ABS bike, would I have to change out the front wheel bearing also.
Thanks for any help, been reading about all the failed systems and have not found a lot on by passing it.

A hydraulic line going from the master cylinder to the calipers.

Scudda, I have thought about that also, but if these things are failing, and you have to stop quick, you are out of luck. Pucker factor went way up when I went to stop.

To bypass the system simply buy a set of conventional brake lines and install them between master cylinder and calipers. Do that for front and rear!

I'd fix it if it needed to be fixed. But if I wanted it gone I'd go all the way and remove the speed sensors and replace with the proper spacers

There are thousands of bikes it works fine on....also think about how many cars it is on and working over the years....you can't live your life on "What If's"

Post #100 will show you exactly how to bypass it. This will be the route I take should mine fail. No need for new brake lines with the procedure.
