Now that you have the 07, let the upgrades begin.

Make sure the Bike is in good running order, tires, brakes, & cables are in good shape.
If the engine is tired it can be made into a 103 or a 110 with bolt on big bore barrels.

Becausen as mentioned, they are a kind of bastard year though I prefer to think of it as a transition year. For example, seats from 06 and older don't usually fit nor do seats from an 08. There are other things like that because it's sort of a 1 year model.

All that aside, my 07 Ultra Classic has been a real fine bike with no real problems finding parts yet.

The 08 is the one year model/bastard year with the 6 gallon tank and change to seat tab and engine mount tab. Most seats fit 97-07. Then 09 the fram completely changed.

^^^^ Yep............the '08 FLHX is the odd man out, not the '07's. Really doesn't mean a whole lot anyway. I haven't heard of anyone having trouble getting parts for any year.
