Infotainment will not stay on map screen

I have a 2016 RGU with the 6.5 screen. At random times my display will change from the map back to the basic media screen (current song.) I switch it back with the joysticks and I can watch the orange highlighted button scroll to the bottom of the screen and then turn the track bar orange and go back to media. Sometimes it takes a few seconds but occasionally it happens immediately 5 or 6 times in a row. Also happens if I use the buttin on the unit to go back to nav. Very annoying if I'm trying to use the nav screen. Then it will work fine for 100 miles.
Has anyone else had this happen? Nothing changed with the system. I've been holding off on updating it since I always have issues after an update. This one has worked fine until recently.

All I can say is IF it's under warranty ...take it in. If not, I'd still take it in so they can check the firmware and software.....obviously something's not right.
