can the ETC be reset?

can the ETC be reset?
2010 tour classic idle only At first i could turn engine off for a few minutes and throttle would return to normal, now when i start the engine it will only idle. any ideas?

ETC is electronic throttle control.

Likely candidates for that bike are: the twist grip sensor, a break in the wire harness between the twist grip sensor and the ECM, or the TB.
