There are 100's of Oil Cooler Threads here.. (Almost as many as Oil Threads (LOL))

Some people wouldn't ride without them - Some would never put one on there putt...

Might try a SEARCH and check the other threads out

Well Wife and I have 07's both with lowers (fairings).
Mine is an Ultra and her's is a Street Glide.
Did a test ....
She had her's 1st withthe HD oil cooler.
I got an Ultra and for a few weeks I checked her temps against mine.
We both also use the HD LCD oil temp dip sticks.
Her's always ran 10 to 15 degrees cooler.
Needless to say mine got an oil cooler at the 1000 mile service.
Rob .....

Jagg makes the HD oil coolers. You can buy them direct or from a reseller. Do a simple search on your computer......and you can save some bucks!

i would imagine that the condition of the air (flow, temp, density) has an impact on how much the oil is cooled by the cooler. I added one and like the others, noticed somewhere between a 10-15 degree drop. riding in the 80s. taking a trip the next couple of weeks and temps will likely be in the high90s, so will put it to the test.

I seen a 20 deg drop but I don't have lowers on my Street Glide. That and the stage 1 was the best thing I did.

Jagg no longer makes the coolers for HD.
I just put the new 10 row Jagg low mount on my 07 Ultra.
Previously I saw 250+ degrees with low 80 air temps.
now I see 225 at 94 degree air temps. This is the same ride and very
little stop and go.
The HD model is 6 row and I was told by Jagg to expect 25-30% more cooling than the smaller HD cooler. He was right.
The new modeel is not yet on their website. It's a #2300.
