Looking to see if anyone has done it. I did a parts search online for mine and compared it to a 2017 CVO but the pictures are exactly the same and there are some small differences but cant really tell.
Has anyone noticed a big difference with the front suspension between the 2015 and 2017 and up with the Showa dual bending valve?
The 2017 CVO looks like a normal damper rod fork to me! If you want to improve your ride quality I suggest you consider installing fork cartridges from someone like Ohlins, which have a radically different damper design and come with springs matched to your weight.
I was going that route ordering complete front CVO forks for my 15 Limited but ended up just buying 17 CVO Limited. You can order from some dealers and save and installing complete factory CVO forks is very simple.
Other than the part numbers being different for some of the components, I see no differences in the diagrams or the number of components, though I'm sure they are different. I mean, I'm pretty sure they are different. They are different, aren't they?
