Thanks guys...yes, I'm following the manual (and Baker instructions) but always love the input for you guys. Sounds like I've got a roadmap.....
does this cover everything I'll need for fixing the bearing/race issues: https://www.allballsracing.com/25-3103.html

Unless you put red lock tight on the inside of the new race upon installation, you stand the chance of that one walking towards your sprocket. Be quick about it though if you heat up that race and don't push it too far on the shaft. I've always found to put a jig on the shaft to prevent the race from installing too far inward. Or your could always use that special tool for installation. Good luck!

I just went for it. Held the square part with vice grip if anyone referenced this later.
Here’s what it looks like.
And now...replace the oil seal that was behind the race? Right? With this part. And can I just pull the old one with a pick?

You can’t remove the inner primary bearing with a pick! It will need to be pressed out and the new one pressed in. If you don’t have the proper set tool to press it in, you can use a large socket but need to be careful where it sits on the bearing. If you don’t have anything to do it with, I would bring the whole inner primary and bearing to the dealer or a shop and pay a little to have it pressed out and the new one in. If you do it yourself, be sure to support it properly during pressing as it will flex and can snap. As for protecting the splines, tape it up.
