I love oil threads.........For older bikes I will stick will Bel-ray.

Any 20w50 Castrol motorcycle oil is fine, they also offer the Actevo for less money.
Any 20w50 Valvoline motorcycle oil is fine as well, which can be bought for less then $5 a quart in Walmart or Walmart online, add $1 if buying in autoparts store.
Syn or Conv is up to you, I use a semi syn 15w50 that cost $12.50 a GALLON, $25 for a 2 GALLON (plus shipping ya da ya da) container at Rural King and meets the HD requirements for a HDEO that none of these other oils meet.

Not promoting anything, just ...whatever ... key is change your oil when you are supposed too, treat the bike right and the engine will outlast the bike .... maybe?
