Input on slip ons needed
Just picked up a new to me 2014 flhtk with a stage 4 kit. Its got what i believe to be vh dresser duals on it (or a lookalike) paired up with a set of se night sticks. Imo, supertrapp doesnt make anything that sounds good on anything and these things are loud. Theyve got a bunch of the discs in but still have the end caps in place. Im thinking about vh monster rounds (had a set, they were decent), rinehart 4", or vh ho with the quiet baffle. I need something quieter than the night sticks for sure and id like to not have to re tune.

and? How does it compare to the above. I know bassani makes a quality product. I mean how do they compare as far as volume?

I have the VH high outputs. Removed the baffle socks, but re-installed the baffle for back pressure as well as to keep it at a rumble, rather than tinny or raw sounding. Get a nice deep rumble without being obnoxious or raspy.
Oh, I have a 2013 electra glide ultra classic with a set of stock pipes (no cat) and a high flow air filter. FP3 tuner to pull it all together.

Gotcha. Now that ive got a radio im trying to be quieter than the night sticks but still have some ***** to it thats why i was thinking the high outputs with quiet baffle or the rinehart 4" but i dont know how theyd compare to the mo's. I guess this is one of the cons to riding solo all the time.

Removing discs makes them quieter. But also increases back pressure and creates torque at the expense of high rpm horsepower. Stock they came with 10 discs each.

I have VH monster rounds on a 103. Nice and quiet while cruising but growl when you jump on it.

i get the concept behind them and i think its a good idea i just havent heard supertrapps make anything sound good. Kind of a "blat" sound.

I guess what the original question should have been is where do these all fall together as far as volume between the monsters and the night sticks. I want less than the night sticks but more than the monsters would be awesome.
