Broken ABS sensor wire 2008 FLHT
I have the same problem. One of the wires broke near the cable tie and has left me with no ABS. I've located the break but it's pretty damn close to the connector which would make a splice damn near impossible.
Question: Can I use a different type of connector instead of the Harley OEM style connector? Or do I have to go to the dealer and buy their product?
Sorry, my electrical knowledge is challenged to put it mildly.
Thanks!

In your situation , (not enough wire to splice close to the connector),, I would do away with the connector all together.....
Make sure you find the correct wires that go together, (there are two that go to the sensor).. Do one pair at a time so you don't mess it up...
Cut wires at the end of connectors,,, splice/connect the correct wires together ,,, Turn ignition ON, and check that abs light is flashing , not on solid ,,, cable tie wires in safe location under left side ,,, Go for ride and check if abs light goes out ,,, Find a quiet road and hit brakes to check that abs is activating . If so,, go and have a beer ..

You could go to a different connector but then if repairs are needed later you'd have to rework the new wiring as well.
You could also do as suggested and eliminate the connector but I don't like that for 3 reasons.
1, as above, any repairs will have to rework wiring
2, soldering creates brittle wiring
3, you're effectively shortening the wiring by an inch or more.
