So I just put in a new Kevlar extra plate kit with se heavy spring this past winter and Im running Lucas primary oil which is synthetic and I had it dynoed a few months ago after I did the 103 and headwork and it pulled 112 tq and 96 hp for the base tune right out of the gate
i took it in today after about 3000 km for some final tuning and now the clutch slips around 4500 wide open on a 5th gear pull and only put out 105 tq today due to the slipping
any suggestions? I was thinking going back to hd formula plus
I don't know what Barnett reccomends but I put in an Energy One kevlar +1 with their Heavy duty spring kit in 18 months or so ago. They reccomend not using synthetic and actually reccomend the HD Formula +. Mine's only a 96 running stage 2 and doesn't put out the torque yours does but it's actually hard to make slip even when I want it too.
That extra plate clutch pack with the SE heavy spring should not be slipping at 112 TQ. I've run more tq on a lesser clutch set up.
Make sure it is properly adjusted in the primary. Lucas primary oil should work just fine.
On the other hand if it has been out of adjustment and slipping the entire time it could already be toast.

ive never noticed it slipping until it went on the dyno mind you I havent been riding it that hard either
I pulled the plug and it was clean and smelled fine
i did adjust the clutch last week and did as I always do back off the cable and then turn the screw in the primary in until it just touches then half a turn out
