Straps for a lift table...
I used to juggle the hook on the table, then a hook on the bike (or hook to a strap on the bike), and then try to tighten it before either hook came off.... Not anymore!
I found these by accident, thought they might work, bought a pair, installed them, and LOVE the way they work! It's much easier to strap down the bike on the table!

I searched an best price I found on the internet was this place. They shipped them fast. There are a bunch of places that sell them.. I got the 2" straps, but they also make 1" straps.

Maybe I'm the only one in the world who never saw these before, but they were a great find for me... just want to share the info...

I went back & forth on whether I should order those brackets......
I decided to try it wothout them, figuring that I could always add them later.....
I almost bought the 1" straps, since I was using 1" straps with hooks before... on a lat minute whim, I went with the 2" straps... they do seem to be a little overkill....

I already answered Paul in a PM, but for others that are following...
I had the straps set up on my bike, with the bike on the table. The straps were holding the bike, just like in the pic. I needed to raise the rear wheel, and grabbed my scissor jack. I put the scissor jack in place, and raised it enough to put pressure on the frame & steady the bike.
I pulled up on the ratchet lock bar to unlock the ratchet. This released the pressure on the straps. I pushed the handle to vertical. The strap was then free to extend or retract. It had some spring tension on it, which kept it's hook in contact with the bike. I merely raised the bike, and the straps extended as far as needed. I pulled the handle back towards horizontal. It engaged the ratchet, I put holding tension on the straps, and I was go-to-go to start working on the bike....
I could have done the whole strap adjustment one-handed. Very easy.....
This was the big complaint I had with the old double hook tie-downs I was using. While attaching or adjusting the straps, You needed to be really careful and most times one or both of the hooks would come undone. It was a pain and a three-handed maneuver to adjust/attach the straps. Not anymore....!
